Recommendations for reliable taxi firms central London

Could anyone recommend a reputable and reliable taxi firm that cover tourist sites in central London please? A family member is disabled and won't cope with public transport. Price is not so much of an issue but a for a lone woman safety is a priority.

Your best bet is black cabs, or the app Gett which flags you the nearest black cab.

Always black cabs. They are all wheelchair accessible, spacious and have well trained drivers who have to be background checked. I find the Freenow app good for hailing them. I'm disabled and have never had a bad experience with a black cab driver in London despite using them lots over the years.

Also, if you want a potentially slightly cheaper option, particularly for longer journeys that you want to prebook, Addison Lee are also very good. They do a lot of corporate work, drivers are all checked, usually very helpful, cars are always immaculate.

When my dad visits me in London (he's almost 90) we just go everywhere by black cab. Very accessible. Bookable and hailable.
