London train-tube connection times

Limited experience of London so need the London MN knowledge please. Trainline gives the following changeover times, are they realistic without running?

Into Paddington on the train, 27mins to get to platform on the Elizabeth line.

Liverpool St tube to train station platform 30 mins.

I’m guessing the times are adequate but wanted to check before booking.

100% doable at Paddington, you can get from train to Liz line in under 10 minutes, including reading signage and waiting for lifts if you need them. I have never done it at Liverpool Street but hopefully someone will be along soon who has?

Liv Street it depends which tube and which train.

Both interchanges reliant on everything running to time, which is by no means guaranteed!

It won’t take anything like 30 mins at Liv Street. It is a bit of a treck with an epic lift, but I’d say 15/ 20 tops.

if you are getting on a national rail train at Liverpool st, the train will open 15 minutes before departure and it is nicer to get on early and be sure you have a seat. And to have time to buy a coffee at the station. I’d allow for more time if you can.

Both times given are very generous. You could probably do it hopping backwards and still make it within those times. So nothing to worry about.
