Friday evening in London with a 13yo

I’m taking DS to London for the weekend. We have stuff planned for Saturday and Sunday.

Any suggestions what we can do or see on Friday evening? We are staying in Putney but happy to travel into the city.

Prom at the Royal Albert Hall. Standing tickets are £8 each but can only book on the day. South Ken is nice and not far from Putney on district line.

Trip on the Thames - there are tours but the Uber boats run to and from Putney to the Tower until quite late in the evening I think.

Battersea Power Station

The British museum is open until 8.30 (last entry 7.30) and the Portrait Gallery until 9 on Fridays.

See a show, I use the Todaytix app for cheap tickets.

I was going to say this, uberboat to Tower Bridge, feels vibrant around there at night.
