Staying in a cottage nearby for a couple of days soon and would love a nice brunch. Dog friendly if possible even if sitting outside as we can't leave the dog in the accommodation. And aside from food, any must visits or nice short walks (I'm recovering from an injury )
Thanks!

Number Nine is said to be dog friendly but it's been a while since I was over that way so can't offer any other suggestions - and I don't have a dog to test the theory!!
But as it's Sunday tomorrow you may see a lot of bikers - it's a meeting point for a lot of motor cyclists who frequent the local cafes. So it's place to people watch!

Not there today sadly but will have a look there thanks
Anyone else or suggestions for a good stroll and coffee?

The Royal Hotel is lovely but I can’t remember if they’re dog friendly.

Just south of you is a village called Nether Burrow and there’s a pub there called the Highwayman. We had a lovely meal there and they’re dog friendly and I believe there was some lovely walks around there too.

You might have more luck getting answers on the Facebook community page 'We are Kirkby Lonsdale'. There is also another page called 'Kirkby Lonsdale'.

Ribblehead Viaduct isn't far and you can just have a gentle stroll.

Plato’s in Kirby Lonsdale is lovely-was there a couple of weeks ago. Not your usual pub food. We had lunch in the outside courtyard and saw dogs there and bowls of water for them.
