I have a week off in August with my 6 year old DD and Id like to do a little road trip with her, I have a few ideas but would love some suggestions.
I thought about doing a trip on the train but then Im worried how much that will limit us not having a car at each destination?
- Were about 50 miles outside of London, have family Id like to see in Cheshire (not essential but would be nice)
- Would be looking to go for maybe 3-4 nights as accommodation is going to be expensive in the holidays
- Like North Wales as its where my Nan used to go on holiday and her ashes are scattered so I like to visit every few years (sorry if that's morbid)
Any clever routes or destinations, nice places to go with a 6 year old (we have a short beach holiday a few weeks later so beach stuff not essential)
Any tips for reasonable accommodation that's safe for me and DD staying by ourselves?
