So yesterday i burnt my face with cooking oil and have been in and out of a&e as well as urgent care. I was ment to fly out to my holiday today but the nurses were huming and haring over whether it was safe as its for surfing and were staying on the beach. Ive decided to not go and am wondering about how likley it is this will be covered by travel insurance and if so what do i need to do as other than some bandages and gauze ive not got any documentation of it.

If you can’t travel you can claim on your insurance

You need to get a doctor to write a letter for your travel insurance to say you're unfit to travel.

Contact them and ask. I would think that you wouldn’t be covered as you were fit for travel just uncertain on if you could go on the beach.

im only unsure as the trip is a surfing holiday, so the whole point of the trip is to go in the sea
