Southampton hotels/ Premier Inn for 17 year old?

My daughter needs to stay at a hotel before getting a flight the next morning (early-ish) from Southampton. Closest is a premier inn at the airport, but she is 17 and looks younger. Minimum age is 18. We don’t live in the UK so there wouldn’t be a backup plan if they didn’t let her in! Any suggestions? I’ve already booked the flight and am slightly freaking out now :( thanks.

What about an air bnb?

I regularly stay in that area, and have unsuccessfully tried to book a (one week before 18th birthday) 17 year old into a different Premier Inn for similar reasons. Premier Inn just refused.

There is a Holiday Inn at Eastleigh, and they may be worth a call.
There are also a few guest houses in Eastleigh which may be worth a call - the only issue there then is your judgement over safeguarding. I personally would prefer Premier Inn or similar larger hotel from that perspective.

Is there a friend or family member who could volunteer to go with them?

Thanks. I’ve emailed premier inn and that Holiday Inn, I’ll try guest houses etc after that. I would feel better with her in a hotel - so irritating that in 3 months she would turn 18 and it wouldn’t be an issue! Thanks.

If it helps, I have an air bnb in Southampton, there’s cameras outside front and back and a security lock which is a personal key code. So if you do have to book an air bnb look for places either extra security xx
