London - family of 5 accommodation

We'd love to go to London for a few days this summer (from Ireland).

Any recommendations for somewhere to stay that is outside London with easy links in? I can't find anything reasonable in central London. Would be okay with getting a train in and out.

Hi, we're in Ireland also and we found an airbnb near a tube line. We find once we're near a tube line, we can get pretty much wherever we want to go easily.
