Canoeing in Snowdonia

We’re staying in Beddgelert for our summer hols- can anyone recommend somewhere that we can go canoeing? Either a guided activity or self hire, but not white water or anything too hair raising!

The national white water centre is about 45 mins away and is excellent fun rafting etc

Thank you, we don’t want white water rafting though, looking for a gentle lake or river canoeing experience.

Nant gwynant campsite has a boat hire place. You don’t have to be camping there to go but I think it’s £5 to park your car as a day visitor. Lovely calm lake and river in the mountains. They also hire paddle boards etc.
