Hi, we need to travel back to Weymouth from Edinburgh in our rented motorhome tomorrow. We need to take the shortest route as want to keep the mileage as low as possible. We would like somewhere scenic and interesting (maybe some nice shops but not crazy busy or rough!) between these 2 points (see map). Went to Stratford-Upon-Avon and Lake District on the way up. It’s me (45) and 15 year old daughter! Any ideas for somewhere nice to visit on our way back for a day and a night gladly received!
