I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but in case you can help, do you know of any seasonal pitches in the North of England? Ideally, Cumbria, North Yorkshire, and Northumberland.
I have trawled the internet but only seem to find regular touring pitches. The few seasonal pitches I have found are full and their waiting lists are years long - so long in fact that you can't join them.
I've probably missed the boat for 2025, but I'm keen to get ahead for 2026 if I can.
We love our touring caravan but don't use it as much as I'd like as it's such a faff to get it from storage, clean it, pack the car, set it up and then do all of that again on the return. We feel like a seasonal pitch would let us use it without having to faff about so much for each and every trip... keen to hear from others who have one to see if that's the reality or a pipe dream!
