Help me find the impossible! Somewhere with room service for me, dh and 2 children for 3 days over half term <begging tone>

Help, we really want to go somewhere near a beach for 2 or 3 nights over half term. I want room service, interconnecting rooms, no chintz, tolerance of children (who are 10 and 4 and well behaved) and overall relaxation. Spa is not remotely important, decent service.

I know it's asking a lot this close to the time, but any ideas? Within 3 hours drive of Milton Keynes if pos, or reasonable train distance. A hotel would be good but nothing under 4*

Assume healthy budget. TIA to anyone who can help!

I think HDVs don't do room service so pos no good. Not mad keen on Brighton unless somewhere blinding. Thanks

Prioy Bay hotel on teh isle of wight?

Bedruthan Steps Hotel, Cornwall. A bit furhter than 3 hours, but worth it.

Not sure about room service but ticks all other boxes and you can go to Mudeford which is heaven if weather good
