London family hotel

Evening all! We’re planning to have a sightseeing weekend in London with our children (age 6 &4) in June. Looking for recommendations for a fairly central, yet affordable (ish) family hotel. We will get the train into Waterloo so that could be a good area for us. Thank you in advance!

Hampton by Hilton which is a five minute walk from Waterloo. We have just done a similar trip and were planning to stay in one of the Premier Inns in Southwark, but this hotel turned out to be cheaper as it included breakfast. Room lovely and service really good.

I've also stayed in the Marlin near Waterloo for a work trip which have kitchenettes in the rooms and is also very nice.
