Hi, I am meeting a friend half-way geographically this summer. Mid point is Sparkford, Somerset. We are looking for a place to stay with a decent bar/restaurant nearby and need to be able to enjoy walks from our accommodation. Perhaps there’s a better/prettier more happening village/town nearby?
