Hotel near Hyde Park with great breakfast

Can anyone recommend a hotel or similar near Hyde Park in London which serves a great breakfast and has very comfy beds?

Looking to go end of March for three nights, two people, and don't want to spend more than £500 in total ideally.

I've looked on various booking sites, but it's taking me ages to look up how the breakfast is at each place, only to find they're very expensive or have bad reviews etc so thought I'd ask for personal recommendations. I really don't want to pay the high prices for breakfast, only to find out the coffee is awful or the food cold for example. Equally I don't want to traipse around looking for breakfast elsewhere.

I would be amazed if you could find anywhere costing £500 for 3x nights near Hyde Park that has an amazing breakfast. I suspect you need to look further out or increase your budget.

How far out would you think?

Secret escapes have Novotel Paddington with breakfast for 3 nights just under £470 and it has a pool

Or the Thistle March Arch for just under £490 with breakfast

I doubt any would have any amazing breakfast.
Most hotel breakfasts are a bit meh, same buffets, and if you are lucky something cooked to order rather than just under a heat lamp, and overpriced.

We recently stayed very centrally after the theatre. Breakfast was in the roof terrace restaurant at an extortionate price and reviews mixed, so we found a nice cafe restaurant in soho just a few minutes away well rated on Tripadvisor that did a fab breakfast for less than 1/2 the price.

Choose a cheap hotel and do breakfast at a Breakfast Club cafe - they are brilliant: https://thebreakfastclubcafes.com

I’ve booked Thistle Hyde park end of march for 2 nights for 326 so it’s possible but I booked that months ago

3 nights at premier inn Paddington for £371 or £422 in the Plus rooms?

All their beds are Hypnos, & there's budget left for a nice breakfast elsewhere

Loveduppenguin · 02/03/2025 22:37

Don’t know what the brekkie is like though

Nosebooper · 02/03/2025 22:39

Thanks, I'll look into all those.

The Queen’s Gate is great, but double your budget.

The Caesar Hotel is very nice, and the breakfast was excellent. May be a little over your budget, but I honestly think you'd struggle to find anything much cheaper.

Can vouch for the one at at St Pancras. We had great pancakes there yesterday but not enough time for a full English before our Eurostar train. Great area to stay in as well.

What is the breakfast club? I've looked at the website but can't find prices.

You need to choose a breakfast Club location to see the menu with prices.

Yes, I can also vouch for this one. Beautiful, great breakfast, perfect location.

Have a look at the Blakemore Hotel - it’s several years since I’ve been but each time we stayed it was fine. Breakfast was a self service affair with lots of choice.
