South England holiday, with lots of requests...

I'm trying to find somewhere for a holiday this summer but can't quite seem to find exactly what I need.

Ideally on the coast (sea views), dog friendly, toddler friendly, somewhere vaguely in south England (Sussex?) as have to tie it in with a visit to family in Epsom, so Cornwall etc would be too far. Ideally I try to avoid holiday rentals which take away from residential housing - so a hut in someone's garden would be okay. I like little groups of holiday cabins (like the forest lodges we get in Scotland) but a smallish caravan park would be okay.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

Is SE too far? The Norfolk and Suffolk coasts lots of dog friendly areas. Some areas are more popular with caravan parks.

Kent? Friends rave about Broadstairs and Rye. Not sure how dog friendly they are though?

Hurst View is small and has the sea views that you're after. It's dog friendly but doesn't have many facilities. Shorefield Country Park is larger and has more to do. It's within walking distance to the beach, but no views.
