Going to London for 5 days, staying at premier inn at Bank
Looking for cheap food ideas for family of 5, kids are not very adventurous eaters unfortunately. Thinking the food costs will mount up so any cheap ideas?

Inexpensive and quick pizzas can be had at Pizza Union, various branches across London.

Marugame Udon. Inexpensive and quick, again. Lots of locations. Plain udon noodles could be had from there, if your kids would eat them.

If it is the Premier Inn on Lower Thames St, Borough Market is just a skip and a hop away. Lots of options at Borough Market.

We frequently use the supermarkets for sandwich or pasta based meal deals.

Buy all your snacks from Tesco/Sainsbury's etc not food vendors. Franca manca pizzas are also reasonable. There are some Wetherspoons around too. Meal deals for lunch. Premier inn kids eat free breakfast to fill you up before you go out.

At Bella Italia, kids can eat for free all day on Thursdays, or for just £1 until 6 pm from Sunday to Wednesday.

At Sound Cafe by Marble Arch, under 12s eat free with every paid adult main course. It’s only valid with a reservation though.

On Sundays at Banana Tree, you can get a free kids main meal and dessert with each full price main meal.
