Is Jodrell Bank worth a visit?

Thinking of booking a night in Chester, exploring the town a bit and going to the zoo with my 9yo.

Wondering if Jodrell Bank is worth a visit while we are over that way?

I can remember going on a school trip (many years ago). Is there much to see/do?

Yes, definitely worth it and well pitched for all age groups. My nephew is 7, and not really into 'space' but he loved it.

There is a brilliant farm nearby that's worth a visit for the ice cream alone.
