Best value tickets for Tube.

It's been a while since I've been in London and just looking for advice re the best way to get value on the Tube. I will be in London for 3 days and will be out and about quite a bit. I don't have an Oyster card - should I get one? And is there a daily cap on fares?

Just use your debit/credit contactless card or Apple/Samsung Pay - it caps the same as Oyster cards do and you don't have to faff about with top ups etc.
