Isle of Wight - family pools?

Hi there, looking to book a week in early summer on the Isle of Wight. We prefer SC and would like to get the kids swimming lots in a pool. But villas with pools are way out of budget.
Can anyone recommend a hotel with pool which also has SC options, or an area with a good public pool (ideally with a shallow ‘beach entry’ end) that we could just look for an airbnb near?

There’s a caravan site in St Helen’s, near Ryde, with a nice big pool. Can’t recall the name of the site, there’s 2 caravan sites in St Helens and it’s the one not abutting the beach!
