London ‘date night’ ideas

My husband and I will be in London for one night this month and we’re trying to think of something to do for the evening. Ideally we want to avoid the usual things we do when down there such as watching shows and do something a bit different. We’re staying quite central so open to lots of locations!

I’m pregnant so this will probably be one of our last visits without a baby in tow so really want to make the most of it! Any recommendations for fab restaurants for breakfast and dinner would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

How about Bounce (ping pong bar) is fun, or Draughts the board game cafe near Waterloo (pro is that you're sitting down all evening, the food is good too!)

I've also done a Gourmaze treasure hunt - basically you follow clues on your phone to track down restaurants that then feed you a course of your meal when you give them the password. A bit kitschy but lots of fun if you like that kind of thing (I do!) and a fun way to sightsee.

Ooh we do love board games - thanks! I’ll take a look at Gourmaze too.

https://www.wearefairgame.com/ This is great fun - all sorts of games. I went at Christmas and loved it.

Or crazy golf at https://www.swingers.club is always good fun too!

Oh Fairgame looks great, thanks!

The two things I really want to do in London right now are

https://www.magicianstablelive.com/

and

The Murder Express in London - A Theatre Show

so if you could try at least one and report back it would be much appreciated 😁

We've done Swingers golf, lots of fun. My DH wants to do Flight Club (darts) and I fancy https://theroomwhereithappens.co.uk/ - live sing along in the evenings

We also like the quirky cocktail places, went to Cahoots Postal Office at Borough Market last time which was fun.

The Room Where it Happens
