Hi ladies, my parents are visiting London and they would like to briefly see the town of Hampstead. Is there any regular London bus route that you recommend? Thanks alot in advance! :)

There is 210 bus route, they could get it from Golders green (northern line) to highgate. It goes through Spaniards Road and past Kenwood House. If they want to walk around hampstead they can get off near Whitestone pond.

Thank you Alice, I will have a look at the bus. Many thanks! :)

Thank you life, I will also have a look at those buses. They stay at Battersea Power Staton, so a route that overlaps with the Northern line will be good for us. They can't walk too much so we are looking for us bus from which they could see as much scenes as possible.

From battersea power station take northern line to hampstead station [Edgware branch)
Right on the high street

What do they want to see? There is a bus which goes down Hampstead High St (pretty boring), another bus which goes through Highgate and skirts Hampstead Heath (210) ... Personally I'd go from Battersea Power Station on the Northern line to Hampstead and then flag down a black cab and ask to be driven around a bit and then go to Kenwood House for tea.

Unfortunately the high street is the least interesting part of Hampstead. It’s the little lanes either side, and especially up the hill, which are fun. If they can do a few hundred metres of walking I would get off the bus and take them along Flask Walk for a little taste of it.

Thank you! Yes, we will definitely take 210 to get to Heath and further to Highgate. More to see there I remember :)

Thank you Miso for the tip! I will make sure we get a glimpse at Flask Walk, I’ve heard a lot good things about it but then never been there myself 😉
