First time going to london. Going to a concert end of June & have a sun afternoon to fill. Soon to be 16yo is a little alternate, loves anime, make up, teddies, spiderman, art, roller skating/skateboarding.

What could we get up to with her?

I'm a wheelchair user so ideally I will be able to go but if it's something amazing, husband could park me at a coffee shop 🤣

There's a Sunday afternoon roller skate in Hyde park each week londonist.com/sunday-stroll

I was going to suggest this! Lots of street art and performers on the Southbank too, and there's a lovely food market just behind the Southbank centre if you want something to eat! It's very wheelchair accessible round there, lots of lifts. And obviously the London Eye is there too and you're close to the Houses of Parliament/London dungeons etc too.

If you want to see more sights, I highly recommend getting a boat (wheelchair accessible!) from there down towards Greenwich and back. You can see London/Tower Bridge and lots more sights by the river. Either a more pricey 'tour', or the Uber Boats do the same routes for half the price (but no commentary)

I know it's not what you asked, but just in case it helps - Citymapper is a great app to download for your trip. It gives you complete breakdowns of trips via public transport, but you can also filter via accessible routes for wheelchairs which is an absolute lifesaver. If you have any questions related to accessibility feel free to drop me a DM - my mum is a wheelchair user and we're fairly close by (and she refuses to stop going into London 😂) so I'm pretty clued in now 😬

Thanks so much @LittleRedRidingHoody! This is my first trip since being a wheelchair user so always a little nervous on how it'll be getting around.

Boat trip sounds cool too, all suggestions welcome. I'm sending them to my daughter to pick what she wants to do 🥰

If she loves roller skating how about taking her to the matinee of Starlight Express? I took my DD for her 16th and it's one of the best shows we have ever seen.
