1 night away with sister

My sister and I want to go away for 1 night, 2 days. It’s our annual chance to get away and do things that our teenagers wouldn’t enjoy. We are in Herefordshire.
Can anyone recommend somewhere fun and interesting, a maximum of 2 hours away, that we might not have thought of. We are open to any ideas. Just somewhere interesting or unusual.
Thanks.

We’ve been a few times to Tylney Hall. Affordable, cosy, nice grounds, great afternoon tea, heated outdoor pool, spa and beauty facility, cosy evening bar and library. It’s in Hook, Hampshire.
