DH is 50 end of Feb and looking for ideas for a nice hotel for a couple of nights in UK. We live near Birmingham and will drive up to 3 hrs away.
We are child-free, so it’s just the two of us but the budget is around £200 as DH was out of work for a while so just getting back on our feet and haven’t been able to save more than this. Original plan before he was made redundant was to have a week overseas so sadly, need to readjust!
He definitely doesn’t want a party, he isn’t keen on spa treatment days and that kind of thing but likes cosy country pubs, rock music and live comedy.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated.
