London show recommendation

I have family visiting from abroad who would like to spend a few days in London. They would like to see a show. What would people recommend that a 12 year old boy might find enjoyable please? Also, any other recommendations of things to visit in London and generally around Britain would be really appreciated. Many thanks

Not seen it myself but a few sets of friends with boys around that age have raved about Back to the Future.

My DD 13yrs old saw The Lion King recently and thought it was amazing.

I saw the title of the thread and thought MUST recommend Cabaret! But I see it's for a 12 year old. Mrs Doubtfire maybe?

The National Gallery and Portrait Gallery worth a visit!

Back to the future definitely especially if they like the film (though that’s not a prerequisite to enjoy the show)
Matilda is fabulous but a 12 year old boy might roll his eyes a bit
Lion king great

The play that goes wrong?

If they have seen the TV show then I would highly recommend “Stranger Things”. A brilliant play (not a musical).

Back To The Future surprised me with how good it was.

The Twist Museum on Oxford Street.
The mummies in the British Museum.
Camden market.
London Eye and the Aquarium
Take a boat from Westminster Pier down the river and see the sights
Book the Sky Garden for a great view - free but must be booked.
