Hotel recommendations in /near Bournemouth/New Forest

We plan to visit some friends who have just had a baby in a couple of weeks.
They live near Bournemouth and we planned to stay overnight in a family room in nearby youth hostel.
Unfortunately no rooms available so wondered if any of you lovely people had any any ideas for a hotel ( I have 2 dc aged six and eight so needs to be reasonably child-friendly).

There is a really nice Pub that does accomodation that is in the middle of the new forest. Its called the High Corner Inn and they are nice and friendly plus there is a play area in the garden. I'll find you a link.

DH and i have been there a few times. We've never stayed with the children but there have been families staying there at the same time as us and they seemed happy.
