Could I get some help with planning a good walking route in order to see the lights? Maybe starting at Piccadilly Circus 🤷🏼‍♀️ ?
Distance no object. Doesn’t need to be circular.

Thank you.

We do an epic light walk each year, starting from the courtyard at Somerset House. From there we head into Covent Garden, and meander through it until we reach Shaftesbury Avenue. Turn left and continue down Shaftesbury Avenue until Piccadilly Circus. Turn right and head up Regents St to Oxford Circus, taking a detour via Liberty’s and Carnaby Street.
Turn left at Oxford Circus and walk along Oxford St and then turn left onto New Bond Street. You’ll likely spend quite a while here—the displays are incredible. Walk all the way down to Piccadilly, and if you turn left, you’ll find Fortnum and Mason which is always where we finish.

Seconding this which is a good plan.

We tend not to do the lights in one single journey, we do two separate routes.

Oxford Circus to Carnaby Street to Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus to Leicester Square to Seven Dials and Covent Garden which is always very busy.

Selfridges to New Bond Street to Piccadilly and Fortnums which is more civilised.

Carnaby Street, Seven Dials and New Bond Street are usually must sees.

Absolutely brilliant 🤩 Thank you both very much. I’m probably not going to be able to get to London twice, hence wanting one route if possible for Monday.
Can’t thank you enough.
Google is OK, but there’s nothing like personal recommendations.
