Christmas Lights - not London

Which cities have the best Christmas Lights? The 3 kids are desperate to go to London, but I’m not sure it’s worth the £££.
Bonus points if you have recommendations for hotels with rooms suitable for 3 kids!

I’d say Birmingham because it’s got way more than just lights. There’s normally a few fairground rides like a carousel and helter skelter, ice skating and this year there’s a reindeer trail https://visitbirmingham.com/event/brum%e2%80%99s-christmas-reindeer-trail/165387101/
I think the Clayton Hotel is one of the best for families https://www.claytonhotels.com/birmingham/family/

I second Birmingham. We live in London so do quite a few markets etc down here, and go up once a year to Birmingham for the markets/lights/vibes and I'm always shocked by how much cheaper it is!

Depending on where you are, Winchester and Edinburgh are also lovely.
