Looking to get away in Dec with bf, say 4 to 5 days. We love food, long easy walks, wildlife, spas, water. Cost isn't a huge issue.

Have already been to the New Forest and loved it there. Happy to drive as long as required. We are in London.

Any tips?

St bride's hotel Saundersfoot. A lovely hotel right near the beach. The outdoor pool is amazing.Saundersfoot has some fab restaurants as does Narberth up the road. On the coastal path so fab walks.

The Gilpin or Another Place in the Lake District.

Anywhere along the Suffolk or Norfolk coast would be great. Lots of places to walk and lovely little towns and villages to visit from Aldeburgh and Southwold down south up to Wells-next-the-Sea up north.

Also, if you will be in the area then December is the perfect time to go and see the new born seal pups at Blakeney Point Nature Reserve (visitors on foot are only allowed from October onwards)

Seal watching at Blakeney Point

All you need to know about England's largest grey seal colony and how you can enjoy this remarkable wildlife spectacle on Blakeney Point.

Cotswolds.
Not too far to drive, nice towns like Cirencester or even Oxford to visit along with lots of very pretty villages and lovely countryside. Many good hotels and places to eat and many attractions from NT properties to wildlife parks.

Manor House Hotel at Castle Combe and then Bath or the Cotswolds or both.

Ynyshir (Gareth Ward's 2* Michelin restaurant) maybe stopping in one or both of Ludlow and Shrewsbury en route? Allows time in the Shropshire Hills for walks etc.
