Hi, my dh & I will have a free night in London next week. We live very rurally so am thinking might be nice to catch a West End show. Probably would prefer non musical but other than that we are wide open to suggestions. Would love some recommendations! Alternatively a good restaurant suggestion would be appreciated. We are staying in Earlscourt area. Thank you!

I loved Witness For The Prosecution in County Hall. I’m an Agatha Christie fan and the setting there is so unique.
Can sometimes get bargain tickets on the day from here.

The Lehman Trilogy was very good, although it's quite long.

Stranger Things - if you are a fan of the Netflix show - brilliant cast and very impressive special effects.

Guys and Dolls - I know you said you would prefer not a musical but this is great and finishing in a few months.

Macbeth with David Tennant and Cush Jumbo - I haven't seen it (yet) but heard very good things about it.
