Where to go after a brunch in London?

I'm going with a large group of friends for a 50th birthday brunch which finishes at five near Bank on Saturday. We want to go somewhere after and don't mind travelling out of that area as likely to be quiet at the weekend.

Would really appreciate any recommendations of a nice, buzzy pub or bar we could move on to. Thanks .

Hays Galleria (south bank between London Bridge and Tower Bridge) and that general area has lots of bars and is quite buzzy at the weekends.

The Horniman has outdoor seating with heaters and is right on the river (and does nice sharing platters if the brunch wasn't enough).

If you don't mind travelling a bit I'd go up to Shoreditch and go to Boundary which has a lovely rooftop bar and other floors too.

Be At One in Spitalfields is always busy, but it's always really clean and you get great service whatever.

The Ned?

These are all terrible suggestions.

You can't beat Soho in London, hop on the Piccadilly line and get off at Covent Garden. Plenty of great bars around there and Soho.

I think wherever you go, with a large group you might want to book space, The Standard hotel at Kings X has a really nice cocktail bar called Sweeties with a great view and a Dj (although drinks are on the pricy side).

The irony of @Beula82 saying these are terrible suggestions and going on to recommend the most crowded, touristy part of London! Why don't you try the Wetherspoons on Leicester Square Wink
