Leeds or nearby - dog friendly pubs with good food?

Posting here as my thread in Chat only got a couple of replies.

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations they could share. Visiting Leeds this Saturday with the dog. Friend recently moved to a flat in central Leeds and if the weather is decent we’d like a run out somewhere. I thought Roundhay Park might be an option for a walk with the dog but wanting to find out if anyone has any better suggestions?

We’ll also need somewhere nice to eat, not posh and preferably not a chain unless really good. I’m only there for the day though so would need to be somewhere that serves all afternoon as I’ll be gone by evening.

Also, any ideas if it’s a wet day would be great (although weather’s looking ok at the moment 🤞).

The Stansfield Arms at Apperley Bridge has some lovely walks https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/arts-and-culture/weekend-walk-apperley-bridge-1770184

The Roundhay Fox is fabulous.

I think its a Green King or similar - food is great. We often get discount deals by signing up to their mailing list.
