Move first or apply for a job first?

I would like to move cities. I have a little house to sell, but do I move there first and buy a property or do I apply for a job there first?

can you afford to keep a property if you don't have a job?

No right way to do it but if I were you I’d get the job first, rent, make contacts scope out areas in new city, then buy.
