London hotel

Hi travelling to London from Cardiff via M4, event at O2. Looking for a hotel outside the congestion zone, don’t think we can avoid ULEZ fee. Spending two nights looking for budget hotel. Don’t want to use car once at hotel. Second day plan to tube into London for some sightseeing! Looking for recommendations for hotels please.! Kind regards Amanda

I'd probably stay out near Heathrow so that you don't have to go anywhere near central London and can just come off the M4 and dump the car for a couple of days. Then you take the Piccadilly to Green Park and change at Green Park on to the Jubilee for the 02.
