Special Lunch in Winchester - where?

Hi all,
looking for recommendations for when we visit - special bday lunch for group of ladies, weekend, run up to Xmas.

Close to centre/train station - walking distance if poss

Cote Brasserie is really nice.

I think it's quite near the station.

Anywhere in the town centre is walkable from the train station. You could try the Hotel Du Vin or Brasserie Blanc if you fancy French food or the Wykeham Arms is a popular upmarket pub near the cathedral. If you decide on the Ivy book it well ahead as it always seems to be booked out.

Brasserie Blanc. You might get lucky and see Raymond!
