Spa hotel within 1.5 hours of London

Any recommendations please? Looking for a night away for our wedding anniversary in November.

We love The Grove which is local to us but been there a lot. Also been to The Glasshouse in Essex and Sopwell House.

Must have a beautiful spa with treatment rooms and good food. Prefer contemporary decor if possible.

South Lodge near Hosrham. Absolutely stunning

Gainsborough is nice in Bath as is the Macdonald - although a bit more 'traditional'

The food and the spa at Bedford Lodge in Newmarket are superb. I didn't rate the decor in the rooms very highly, but they're big, clean, spacious and modern.

Champneys Forest Mere

The LIfehouse in Essex is in lovely grounds and has a good restaurant.

Another vote for Sourh Lodge outside of Horsham!

So posh it has its own helipad.

There is a brand new spa at the marquis in Suffolk. Literally a couple of weeks..

The glasshouse is about 15 miles further west and has a very different vibe!
The lifehouse spa is lovely, we've got a few days booked end of October

Thanks for all these great suggestions. Think Pennyhill Park is a bit out of price range unfortunately but I’m looking at all the others.
