Where to stay in london

I’ve managed to get my son oasis tickets and will give them to him at Christmas (he’s early 20’s). He’s never been to London but I was thinking of booking a hotel for 2 nights and wonder where the best going out area would be that has easy transport links to Wembley? He’ll go with a friend so I was thinking they would be best staying central rather than at Wembley.

Anywhere between Baker St and Euston. Holiday Inn Regent's Park would be a good budget option.

To be honest I’ve always found the whole Wembley post concert organisation by police to be so good that anywhere in central London near a tube station would be ok. The police stagger people getting to the tube station so it’s not chaotic. Baker Street a good call. We stayed at Southbank and getting to Waterloo was no problem. From there easy to walk to Piccadilly / Leicester Sq etc
