Which UK theme park for young thrill seekers?

I’ve got two thrill-seeking DS aged 8 and 10 (8yo is about 135cm).

We’ve done Chessington and Legoland in the UK - I think they are slight out growing Legoland rides now. They loved Chessington. They have no fear and would happily do any ride they’re big enough for.

Which UK theme park would you suggest for maximum thrills for this age group?

Drayton Manor and Thorpe Park have pretty much the same number of decent rides for that age. Drayton has the zoo, but I'd go to whichever is nearest.

We find that Paulton Park has many family rides and usually there are no queues (exc. Peppa Pig). It's a good park.

I was looking at Thorpe Park but I think they’d be disappointed by the number of rides they can’t do - they aren’t tall enough for the bigger rollercoasters.

Not looked at Drayton yet.

Drayton Manor. It has a nice feel and a good variety and don't have to walk miles between rides.

Paultons park, some excellent rollercoasters for that age and older, plus lots of other good rides and attractions, not bad queues and no 2-tier fast pass type system.

Thanks for the suggestions - Paultons, Drayton and Chessington are all manageable so I’ll let the boys choose!

Alton towers?

Thorpe park is definitely where they want to end up if no fear but yes, not until they're 1.60 or whatever thrle minimum for the thrilling/exciting ones as pointless otherwise. There are some world class roller coasters there that will terrify them 😄

Another vote for Paultons Park, they have a good range of different size rides
