Where would you take 6 year old for summer holiday ( no more than 2 hours from Lancashire).

As nice as you can but cheap as possible 🤞

North Wales ! Beautiful beaches, mountains, waterfalls, steam trains…!

The Lake district is lovely and not too far away.

North Lancs, Lake District.
South Lancs, North Wales/Anglesey.
East Lancs, North York Moors

The lakes is the obvious choice

You are in the zone of beauty. North Yorks, lakes, N Wales.

It depends on what you both enjoy doing and what type of accommodation you like really? Are you thinking of a campsite where they can play with other DC or something like renting a cottage?

Where in Lancashire is key given it can take over an hour to drive from one end to the other!

But I would go for North Wales or Yorkshire coast.

How about Haven in North Wales?

Funf · 08/09/2024 10:55

The advantage of North Wales over the lakes is less rain and more beaches and you don't have to travel as far to see differnet places
