Hi

We're heading to an AirBnB in a small town near King's Lynn for the long weekend. Hoping to head to a nearby beach one day but anyone knows the area or have any recommendations of things to do/days out in the area?

It's DH, me and two DS aged 8 and 11.

Any info gratefully received.

Boat trip from Blakeney to watch the seals
There's a tiny open train that runs from Wells-next-the-Sea to Walsingham which is lovely for a wander.
Sandringham Estate
Lots of National Trust places scattered around
Norwich is lovely to wander round and has the cathedral, but is quite a long drive from Kings Lynn
The north Norfolk coast is beautiful as are the long sandy beaches.

Thank you! I was aware of Sandringham but not the other suggestions so will look into them.

There is a place called Watatunga near KL, where you can go on a safari around the grounds in a golf cart that you drive yourself, that's good fun.

Also very close by to Watatunga is a crazy antiques and collectables warehouse that is fun to look around. It is attached to a very good burger restaurant (good for veggies too) and a wine and beer warehouse with some good craft ales and unusual drinks. Highly recommended 😁.

They'd LOVE this! Thanks

The seal trips to Blakeney Point go from Morston not Blakeney. They are tide dependent so look up Blakeney Point Seal Trips online.

There is a Sea life centre at Hunstanton.

The beach at old Hunstanton is lovely , or Holme, or go along to Brancaster.

Have a look at Castle Rising if they like Castles
