Nice lunch off M6 somewhere near Stoke - Trentham?

Hi

We are travelling to South East from Cumbria today and wanted to break the journey up and make a nice lunch stop somewhere.

Does anyone know if this is possible at Trentham without paying the entry fee? Can't work it out from the website and not sure what the set up is there?

Or any other suggestions please?

FYI Cheshire is a bit too northern and Warwick a bit too southern.

Yes, you can park up, visit the shops and restaurants, the entry fee is for the gardens.

Willow is lovely at trentham but so is Anasma Greek eatery and Anasma Italian cuisine! Some great options there. And free to park up and eat
