Long weekend to London with dc

Thinking of taking our dc for a long weekend to London. We want to do Harry Potter studios and then usual sights and museums in central London. Any recommendations of areas to stay in? Or specific accommodation recommendations? We need something with a kitchen as my dh is celiac and we need to be able to prepare our own food. Not sure whether just to stay somewhere central for ease. Or to try keep cost down and stay further out and travel in.

if you're going to Harry Potter, you might find it cheaper to stay in Watford and then take the train/tube into central London. It's quick and easy to travel in from there (15 mins train to Euston).

If your dc can share a sofa bed, then Citadines Islington would be my recommendation. It’s in a safe area, 10 mins walk to Angel tube station and then 2 stops to Euston station (for trains to Harry Potter), 20 minutes in total.

Hi there, I rent my beautiful home near the studios, on the canal in Kings Langley. Perfect place to explore from (walk to high street and train line into London), and visit the studios whilst you're here https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/1224436447741281120?viralityEntryPoint=1&unique_share_id=B73D59BB-E175-4E15-870B-66728C169AAA&slcid=a421b452302f48f19e753d31cf2a9ddb&s=76&feature=share&adults=1&channel=native&slug=CpT2gNBI&source_impression_id=p3_1728988444_P3hXepAD7OeuJvFD

We stayed at Hilton Double tree in Kings Cross and did Science Museum in the morning and then HP in the afternoon at Leavesden.

Apologies just seen about your DH needing a kitchen to prepare his food🙈
