Best national trust site around bristol-north devon

We're travelling to Croyde on Saturday, and based on the kids, we'll be due a break from the car when we're roughly between Bristol and North Devon. We have a national trust membership so thinking it would be a good way to spend a few hours with a picnic and let them burn off some steam.

Can anyone recommend one?

Tyntesfield is lovely!! Loved it there and lots to do for children. Not far from m5 either

another vote for Tyntesfield, loads to do for the kids to get some energy out (though some of their woodland outdoor play stuff up in the woods was being repaired last time we were there a month or so ago, still lots to do though )

Tyntesfield just off J20 of M5, or Fyne Court near Bridgwater.
