Reasonable Hotel Near the Savoy Theatre

Hi, I am thinking of taking my 11 year old to a show at the Savoy and would like to book a hotel thats quite easy for us to get back to late at night. Travelling from Scotland so not hugely familiar with the area - can anyone recommend somewhere that's also a good base for sight seeing? Happy to jump on the tube or get a taxi after the show.

Premier Inn, Leicester Square, about a 15 minute walk. Through the busy theatre area so very busy and safe!

The area is heaving, so no need for a taxi!

Don't take a taxi. Although there are lot of rickshaws which seems a better transport option. I was walking through the West End and up to Bloomsbury last weekend and felt very safe.
The most likely crime is pickpockets - so take care.
