London Eye when and where to line up for time slot

Stupid question I know!
I only have been on London Eye when it first opened and none since, also left London in 2012.
I purchased 2 tickets on last minute website for myself and my teen child who is 13 yrs old for a day in London.
Out time slot is 12.45. What time we should arrive so don’t miss our slot? I mean I assume there will be long queues so I don’t want to miss the time slot.

Does she need some ID for her age?
Please don’t laugh on these questions😟🤭

Also any recommendation for free or cheap ideas what to do, she is not into anything really, just clothes and fashion and skincare these days.

Your time on your ticket is the time you need to join the queue. Queuing + being aboard the Eye is roughly about an hour in total. No ID required, no. And as for suggestions to keep her amused, I'd take her to Camden market.

@Emily1583 thank you.
so if I understand it right, if we join the queue at the time it says on ticket ( 12.45) then we get on board in about half hour?
I got the tickets on Last minute and they never sent me any confirmation email nor even asked for an email address or anything. I only took a screenshot of the order, now I worry it wasn’t genuine site?

You will need a barcode for them to scan your ticket. Not sure what site you purchased from but the official London eye site sends you the barcode in an email.

Maybe email the London eye and state the website you purchased from to get confirmation your transaction was legit.
