Malmesbury - stuff for kids?

Hello, I will be around the Malmesbury area for 3-4 days with DS1 and DS2 aged 9 and 7. What fun things are there to do within say 30 mins ish drive? Ideally to wear them out!
Many thanks!

I should add that we could end up staying anywhere in the local area, maybe even towards a bigger town like Cirencester? I'm trying to decide where to base ourselves.

There are lots of family trails and places to play at Westonbirt Arboretum. Cotswold Water Park has loads of activities.

To entertain kids you have bowood, wild place project, Cotswold wildlife park, longleat, eye of the tiger, SS Great Britain, the wave, Avebury, Bath Roman baths, all within day trip distance; bit further away cheddar gorge and stone henge. Lots of lovely NT places too if you are members.
