My 83 year old Mum and I are having a little road trip this summer. She met my dad in Scarborough and she’d like to visit for a couple of nights. Could anyone recommend a nice comfortable hotel, preferably with a sea view please? We realise Scarborough is hilly and don’t mind that. I’m a bit worried by some of the hotel reviews of the larger hotels that I’ve read (one mentioned being harassed by “beggars” on the steps every time they went in and out but this might be hyperbole!) We don’t mind whether the hotel is large or small, but with a lift or not too many stairs. Would be really grateful for recommendations.
