Small hotel for elderly parents m4

Looking for a small hotel, accessible rooms, nice views, used to elderly (eg smaller meals, patient with them). M4 corridor ish. Eg views of Thames or lakes or whatever.
Any suggestions?

Any idea where you'd like to be, which end of the M4

West of Jn6. Ideally not as far as Jn16.
Trying to minimise driving time from Slough area.
Could also go off towards/past Oxford, or down Ascot way.

Parents looking for a quiet change of scene.
