Holiday parks with cycle hire or good cycling areas

I'd love a center parcs holiday but the costs are unreal in August.

Can anyone recommend anywhere good for cycling...not off roading or anything wild, just a nice safe place with areas we can cycle and cycle hire (this isn't crucial as we can potentially take our own).

If it had hot tubs or a pool, that would be even better. Thanks!

Sandy Balls in the New Forest or Kielder Waterside in Northumbria

Sherwood Pines forest in Nottinghamshire. There's bike hire by the visitor centre and a campsite on site (that also has some cabin-type things with hot tubs) as well as Forest Holiday lodges and a Centre Parcs.

Devon Cliffs is near the long trail from Exmouth to Exeter, but I'm not sure how easy it is to get out of the camp

Lady's Mile Dawlish Warren, joins the River Exe cycle path on the opposite side to Exmouth.

Whitemead in the Forest of Dean. No idea about prices there, but you can also camp/motorcaravan. It has a heated indoor pool and lots of activities ,and there's a cycle hire in the village close to a large number of very good off-road cycle trails through the forest. There is also a mountain biking centre a few miles away (right in the middle of the woods!)

We stayed at Lower Hyde holiday park in Shanklin, Isle of Wight a couple of years ago. There was a bike hire place at the park and we went out on the Red Squirrel trail.

Thanks a lot for everyone's suggestions. I've had a good look at all of them.

This is looking like a really good location. I've found some lodges called Clumber Park Lodges - do you know the area at all and know if this is nearby to bike hire /cycle paths by any chance?

I do know the area. I'd never heard of those lodges so looked them up and they are in the forest on the edge of Clumber Park which is a beautiful National Trust estate. The lodges are about a mile outside of the entrance (ie where you'd have to pay to get in by car) but you can walk/cycle through the forest and get in without paying. There is cycle hire there (I've never used it so no idea what it's like) and three cafes (including Central Bark for dogs). There's a marked cycle route around the lake (with a kiosk part way round for snacks and drinks) and lots of other forest trails too. There's always some kind of event going on there too. It's a really lovely and popular place. It's also pretty close to Sherwood Pines so you can always pop over there too - they have their own cycle hire and a lot more marked trails - including a family one and several mountain bike ones.

I stayed at the caravan site (it might be parkdean?) at Whitley Bay with my bike. It's right on the coastal path along the prom which is shared footpath / cycle path in both directions. There's also the "wagonways" paths which are off road. I cycled down to the North Shields and took the passenger ferry over the Tyne to South Shields which was fun. The site is nothing fancy but the location is good as you can access Newcastle and Northumberland easily and there's a beach round the corner.
